Kassi Kincaid's story is one of creativity and impact. She believes everyone is creative and has a unique ability to impact the world.

In a world that is more connected than ever, the power of a well-crafted message to inspire, educate, and evoke change cannot be understated. TEDx Talks have emerged as a prestigious platform for sharing ideas worth spreading, reaching a global audience and creating impact on a grand scale.

Illiteracy continues to be a global problem.  Research indicates that children who fail to attain proficiency in reading by the age of ten will experience significant repercussions in both their individual lives and broader society.  Kassi began her career as a school administrator, and has gone on to develop a ground-breaking initiative called “Book Days” that breaks through literacy challenges experienced by young children. 

Derrick Johnson (DJ), a former Texas Longhorn and Kansas City Chiefs linebacker, has returned to Austin to give back to his community through the creation of the nonprofit Defend the Dream Foundation.

Beloved Children's books come to vivid life with Kassi Kincaid '16, the founder of a popular YouTube channel and live presentation series called "Book Days."

Kendra Scott is dedicated to shining bright and doing good, as well as making a meaningful impact through education. Thanks to your purchases and donations, we’ve been able to provide education grants to amazing organizations.

Book Days’ mission is to encourage a love of reading in children by making reading exciting and bringing books to life. The program does this through theatrical performances and a variety of multi-sensory activities to engage and excite students. In partnership with the Greater Austin Reading Coalition, they launched their first tour across Austin ISD in February 2023. 

Paris is to be featured in the You Tube series, “Book Days: Bringing Books to Life,” when an episode airs Thursday that features a visit from the red-headed character in the children’s book, “Madeline.”

Last summer, we discovered an adorable YouTube channel that was based right here in Round Rock. Book Days, the brainchild of Kassi Kincaid, brings books to life in a unique way. Kincaid took a classroom project and turned it into a full-on virtual experience with favorite children’s stories.

Kassi Kincaid graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Concordia University Texas in 2016.
