We had so much fun with Book Days! I'm a librarian in Round Rock, TX and Kassi came to do a presentation for our Pre-K classes and our LID (Low Incidence Disability) classes with the book Llama Llama Red Pajama and our students had so much fun! It was great to see life-size Llama along with an activity tied to the book. Can't wait to do it again!

There are few things more fundamental for opening the doors of opportunity than the ability to read well, and there are few times more critical to kick-starting that ability than early childhood. That is what makes the mission of Book Days so important. Kassi and her team go the extra mile to excite kids about reading by making connections between the books they read and the real world people, places, and things they visit. It was a joy to work with Kassi and the Book Days team.

Kassi Kincaid's enthusiasm for reading and learning is infectious. She brings cherished children's books to life in the most unique ways, whether it is shadowing a real-life fossil hunter, or playing with penguins. "Book Days" is not only entertaining for us big kids, but it also shows little ones that there is a whole world of careers out there that can truly make a difference.

Kassi Kincaid has visited my Children's Literature class the past two years. My students and I are impressed with her work to make books accessible to children. Book Days is a very important and meaningful mission!

As a librarian it brings me joy to see children get excited about reading. Book Days is an engaging program where children get the opportunity to connect with characters from their favorite books.

Book Days are absolutely amazing!! Both of my daughters were able to enjoy Book Days though my youngest had the opportunity to experience them monthly and they became bigger and bigger throughout her tenure at Cornerstone. Our daughter, Addie, developed her love for reading through Book Days. She was excited each month for them to premiere and looked forward to the activities and costumes that went along with them. One time she had a doctor's appointment in the morning before school and cried and cried as she thought she would miss out on the Book Day event! Thankfully the event had not started and her heart was so happy to be able and participate. She often asked me to make her a shirt that corresponded with the Book Day theme! Kassi always brought the books to life through the costumes/props/snacks and activities. We still enjoy watching Book Day episodes, new and old on YouTube. We are grateful for the time and effort Kassi spent to make these days magical and fun for our children, emphasizing the importance of reading from a young age. If you have not been able to experience a Book Day episode, I highly suggest you follow them on YouTube and their other social media outlets!! We are so grateful for our time at Cornerstone and the time and energy those ladies poured into making learning fun!
